The 2nd graders have been learning about money. We have been reviewing the names and values of all coins and playing a new game to practice counting money and making change.

Counting collections- school supplies
The students created a supply inventory as a way for us to keep track of our school supplies. This activity was a wonderful way for students to learn more about place value
Learning at its best!
At home 2nd grader, Jonathan Ireland, designed and wrote directions for building his own Lego creation. He brought it in for Mrs. Konrad to try. This was a great example of a student applying reading, writing and problem solving skills.
Another SAC jar filled!
The students filled another larger jar with safe, achieving and caring behavior. A few students counted 10s and 100s to find our total- 598 cubes! That's a lot a SAC!!!
